I bought a name and uploaded the Video Clip Site Builder script. I have then started some keyword research on niches I think might be worthwhile. I'm taking care to select niches that do not have massive amount of searches. What you are looking to do is type in a keyword or phrase in the google search engine. Ideally you want there to be between 500 and 5-10,000 results returned. If there are less than 500 there is probably no market. If there's more than 10,000, there is probably too much competition to get on googles page one. For example, Horse riding lessons returns more than 250,000 results. Way, way to many. On the other hand Horse riding lessons in london returns 2,010 results. Thats a tad low. However, Horse riding instruction returns 12,600 results. Perfect. I have now knocked up a few sites on various niches. I will keep at it untill I've got at least 200. All these sites reside under the same domain name so we are not talking hundreds of domain names costing thousands. So far in 2 days, I've got online 15 different sites. Google has sent a spider in so the sites should appear on their search engine quite soon. Having looked at my adsense earnings, I expected to see a big fat zero but have in fact got 4 cents. Not bad considering all the sites are practically invisible search engine wise. Anyway, I will update you as I go. All the best.   |
